MAHOGANY BONNET TOP CHEST-ON-CHEST: Circa 1770, American. Originally owned by a family in Augusta, Georgia. Nice drawers, carved fan and finial, and ogee foot base. The piece survived the Augusta, Georgia, flood in which the crotch mahogany veneer in base portion was lost.
