PR CARVED WHITE NEPHRITE JADE PLAQUE BOOKENDS: 2 carved & pierced Chinese bookends. Both are of white nephrite jade and have Crane and Deer amongst foliate. Both mounted in brass frames having a floral design. Approx. 6.5'' h x 4.75'' l x 3.75'' w. From the collection of the daughter of former Governor Spessard L Holland (WWII era), then US Senator for 24 years, retiring from the US Senate in 1971.
CONDITION: Small crack at side, near frame. Structurally sound, wear consistent with age and use.
