This poster was done by Jean de Paleologu, Romania 1860-1942. This poster was designed for Liberator Cycles and Automobiles. Rather than using the male figure in the firm's logo Pal conceived of a curvaceous beauty ''Liberator.'' This sturdy amazon with her defiant look stands guard in her armor and Liberator bicycle. This image was so popular that it went through several printings by different printing firms for many years. This poster was circa 1889.
CONDITION: Visible creasing, some minor staining along the edges, tape glue marks in the corners, not examined out of the frame.
