1100A Click for larger picture HERMAN MILLER BRUCE BURDICK GROUP MODULAR DESK GROUP WITH CHAIR: To include 2 black desks, 2 modular file cabinets, two I-Beam mounting rails, light wood writing surface/ desk, 3 pedestals, and Herman Miller Chair. Also sold with assorted file and book holder attachments. Sold as a lot. In 1980, the Burdick Group received design awards from the Institute of Business Designers and the Industrial Designers Society of America. The following year, Time magazine named the Burdick Group system one of the Best of 1981 for Industrial Design. The magazine described it as one of the first flexible office furniture systems to come to terms with computer terminals and other electronic office machines. Sold as a lot. 1000
