1235 Click for larger picture 20-40 YR OLD PERSIAN SHAH SEVAN SOUMAK HAND WOVEN WOOL RUNNER, 3'8'' X 9'6'': This lively flat weave runner has three linked multiple diamonds within diamonds shaped medallions that run down the center of the white field. Lots of birds, camels, and other animals are scattered across the field. The borders are in reds, yellow, beige, black, green, and white, like the colors of the field. Their decoration and design are like the motifs in a regular kilim.
CONDITION: this rug is in good condition.
