SIGNED FINE ESTATE HAND KNOTTED ORIENTAL CARPET SILK & WOOL ISFAHAN, 4'3'' x 6'4'': This beautiful rug has a variant of a traditional garden pattern with delicately drawn and colored flowers in beige diamond shaped panels on an ivory field. The pale blue border with its flowers completes the rug. Note the inscription at the edge of the rug that attests to the pride of the weaver and probably gives the place of origin. cream ground with a sea foamy green border with foliate and vine motif, very detailed foliate motif central design.
