IMPORTANT DOCUMENTED ERARD HARP CIRCA 1795: Large single action harp, plucked string instrument, 41 strings, triangular shaped, primarily of light colored maple or pine, decorative leaf and vine motif painted on the front sound board section, back is painted dark green (on the side closest to the player), column at front is painted green and gold in volutes, top of column is gesso embellished with ram heads and decorative motifs, natural finished wood with hand-painted scroll designs on the front, 7 pedals at the base, four small stylized carved feet on front and back, brass plate on the neck above strings is inscribed with: ''Sebastian Erard Patent London No. 121''.
