QING, POSSIBLY MING DYNASTY GILT BUDDHA ON STAND: An early 3 part carved & Gilt Buddha with two hidden compartments, one at the reverse, and one at the underside. Buddha is resting on a Double Lotus stand that rests upon a Foliate motif base, Signed at the lower left front. Base has a backing with carved single-horned Chi-Lins, and a Metal mounted Medallion. Approx. 36.5'' h x 13.25'' w x 12.5'' d.
CONDITION: Loss at one finger, scattered loss of finish, & age cracks commensurate with age and use.
