Note: Although executed in a somewhat monochromatic palette and of subtle subject matter, this may be one of the strongest pictures we have offered this year. Reminiscent of the earliest work of the Ten, it combines feathery touch with lavender and blue highlights while retaining Barbizon roots. 150
