Provenance: This beautifully maintained original oil on canvas by Walter Launt Palmer, depicting a winter scene of snow covered pines bending over a winding creek, has been in the same western New York State family for at least 75 years. It has always been believed that the work was initially purchased from a New York State art dealer. Purchased by Birton E.
