The last piece is a carved and painted chick-a-dee mounted to a plaque, 7 1/2'', some wear to the chick-a-dee, signed verso Maurice Day ''The Whittle Shop, Damariscotta, Maine''. Maurice Day was a noted American illustrator and worked for Disney. Condition - The tree trunk that the chick-a-dee is affixed to appears to have several cracks and a missing chunk of wood.
