
SCOTT, Walt, (American, 1894-1970): Cartoon illustration of a little person in a forest, Gouache, sight size 17 3/4'' x 26 1/2'', signed lower right. Walt Scott originally worked for Disney but is more famous for his Sunday only comic titled ''The Little People''. He also illustrated in Dell's four color comics and in the 50's he put out the newspaper comics, ''The Magic Egg'', ''The Little Blue Duck'', and ''The Animals' Christmas''.
