HAND SEWN SAMPLER DATED 1892: Worked by Karen Margrete Hansen (?). Alphabet and numbers with the date 1892 centered in a wreath. Also shows images of a horse, butterflies, dog, rooster, and the traditional key, heart, crown, and anchor symbols. Worked in red, brown, pink and green on a fringed cloth. Recently framed and matted under glass. The cloth is 15'' x 16''. The frame is 22'' x 21 1/2''.
