BOOTEN, Joseph, (American, 20th C.): 3 Watercolor Landscapes, various scenes, matted and unframed, one is two-sided, all approximately 14'' x 20'', one has a label affixed verso. Booten was the Chief of Design for the Illinois Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Architecture and Engineering. Booton also designed many buildings and camps for the Civilian Conservation Corps, such as Starved Rock, Giant City and Pere Marquette state parks.
