1884 HAMMOND TYPE I TYPEWRITER WITH OAK CASE: Late 19th century marked ''Hammond'' on split type shuttle. Semi-circular Keys engage shuttle when pressed, shuttle rotates left to right correctly, unsure of complete working condition. Cased in wood case with wood cover, with paper tag instructions on inside cover. Right ribbon spool is missing half of top piece. Serial number 15103. Measures 6 7/8'' high x 14'' wide x 12'' deep.
