
CARVED GREENLAND INUIT TUPILAK WHALE BONE: 20th century figural man with child on his back pulling his mouth and ear, additional hand protruding from head, also has 2 prong spear. Note missing part of one foot. Measures 5 1/8'' high. Tupilaks were carved mythical, magical creatures carved by Greenland Inuit peoples for protection and shamanism.
