NEW TURKISH? HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8'10'' x 12'6'': The overall design of this rug is like that of some Oushaks, but the colors used are totally modern. The field ground has a variegated grey green color with a tracery diamond design of vines with palmettes in between also in variegated shades of yellow, ivory, grey-beige, and accents of garnet to add some zip to the pallette. The main border has a charcoal grey ground overlaid with a design of palmettes and leaves, and large flower heads. This is a substantial rug that is also very attractive.
