During his illustrious career in the Civil War Thomas was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Thomas became Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. Hand inscription on back of photo to Mr. Hayward, Pennsylvania. Railroad, Jersey City and 5 cent tax stamp. Sight size 8'' x 6'', framed & matted, 13 1/4'' x 11 1/4''.
