CHINESE SHANG DYNASTY STYLE BRONZE RITUAL LIBATION CUP: Of jue elliptical form, one side of the top mouth rim molded in an outstretched spade form, the other as an elongated open channel spout, with 2 upright short finial capped posts, one on each side of the rim, above an elongated body, each side cast with a stylized taotie frieze amidst extensively incised geometric motifs with bulging eyes protruding from each side of a divided vertical flange, and a dragon headed open loop handle, raised on 3 splayed legs tapered triangular legs. 7 1/4'' h.
