MODERN ORIENTAL HAND KNOTTED WOOL PILE RUG, 10' 1'' x 14' 6'': This rug has a design like a Bergama rug from Turkey but a weave of a Persian rug. There are three central octagonal shaped medallions that have smaller medallions within and latch hooks on the edges. The medallions are in colors of pale rust orange and pale blue on an ivory field with a lot of birds and animals over the entire field. The main border of the rug has a design of stylized peacocks. This border has two guard borders on each side.
CONDITION: The colors are somewhat faded and there is some moth damage.
