COLLECTION OF ALBUMEN PHOTO'S OF EGYPT & MIDDLE EAST: 7 Turn of the century era photos including 2 of mosque and spire by Langaki or Zangaki, photo of a married Muslim woman by Arnoux, unmarried woman and Egyptian scenes unsigned. Most measure 9'' x 11'' and mounted on boards, 10'' x 11 1/2''. Lot also includes folded unmounted photo of wall at Luxor. These pieces were acquired in a 1901 expedition to the Mid East that lasted 111 days.
CONDITION: Note fading, foxing, bends, tears and other signs of damage over the years.
