VICTORIAN TESTER BED: Top section with rope twist decoration, downward spire finial, turned supports. Headboard with carved crest. Foot board with turned spindles and spire finials. Family history recounts these beds as being shipped from England to a sugar plantation near Montego Bay in the 1800's and descended through the family. Overall 97 3/4'' h. x 86'' x 58'', will accommodate a 77'' x 54'' mattress. Similar but not identical to next lot 58.
CONDITION: One spindle on footboard loose, areas of repair to be found.
