VICTORIAN TESTER BED: Top section with rope twist decoration, downward spire finial, turned supports. Headboard with carved crest. Foot board with turned spindles and spire finials. Family history recounts these beds as being shipped from England to a sugar plantation near Montego Bay in the 1800's and descended through the family. Overall 98 3/4'' h. x 86'' x 63 1/4'', will accommodate a 75'' x 59'' mattress. Similar but not identical to previous lot 57.
CONDITION: Note large chip to one column, scratches all over, areas of repair.
