CIRCA 1930'S NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAJO HAND WOVEN WOOL RUG, 34 1/2'' x 45 1/2'': This Navajo rug has a well-proportioned, well executed design of diamond medallions formed by stepped blocks of red, black, and brown on a grey field. The center row of seven attached diamonds is flanked by half diamonds on the sides of the field. The field is edged by borders of red and black straight lines. Orange is introduced in the selvedge and tassels of this attractive rug.
CONDITION: Some light soiling as well as fuzzing.
