MODERN CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 12' x 9': This pretty room size rug has an interesting pattern made up of Imperial cranes in flight. There are four in the center of the rug with a circle of white swans around them. Then there is a larger circle of cranes and clouds on the soft grey field as well as cranes in the corners of the rugs field. The main border has an ivory background where more cranes and clouds are found. The soft palette of this rug would make a great centerpiece for many decorating styles. Condition is good.
