CARVED CHINESE ALTAR BOX: Bird and foliate motif paint decorated top, gilt wood side panels with carved and pierced battle and procession motifs. Base with carved and pierced designs, foo dogs at supports above base wood. Overall measures 10 3/4'' x 17 1/4'' x 5 1/4''.
CONDITION: Note chips to lacquer. Seems to be missing an entire section or insert that would go between the top cover and bottom stand.
