M-5 US ANTI FLAK HELMET: Excellent suspension internally and leather supports are all present. This also includes the leather tie at the top of the inside of the flak helmet. Interior: the flak helmet (inside of the M-5 is a cloth helmet, excellent with a label reading AN-H-15). The goggles are anti-flak goggles. These were primarily issued to armored personnel. They limited vision in aircraft, although designed to protect the face and eyes when under attack from enemy aircraft. Sold on styrofoam head mount, overall 11 3/4'' h. x 9 1/2'' x 9 3/4''.
