APPROX. 25-50 YR. OLD AFGHAN BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 6' 9'' x 8' 7'': Bokhara rugs from the Afghan region usually have a darker palette than this rug's refreshing ivory colored ground. The rest of the format of the rug is very traditional with rows of ''guls'' or elephant foot motifs alternating with diamond shaped ''guls'', done in shades of red and black. The multiple small borders are also executed in the same shades as those found in the body of the rug. Condition is good.
