ANTIQUE N. W. PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3'6'' x 6'4'': This is an interesting collector's rug. The field's main motifs are a row of diamond shaped medallions that have triangle shapes fitted in closely except for the top smaller diamond. The brown-black edges of the field each have a row of flower heads that become small and scattered at the top of the rug. There is also a running dog border on the edge of the field that further accentuates the inner designs. Also there are a few scattered animals to be found. This is a very appealing rug.
CONDITION: There is visible wear in the brown-black areas and the ends are slightly uneven.
