SEMI-ANTIQUE TO ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 5'5'' x 10'3'': This attractive rug looks like it was woven by the Fereghan weavers. There is an overall herati design that looks like a sideways key attached to other geometric patterned leaves and flowers with vines that look like grid work. The motifs are in colors of medium blue, yellow, white, and black on a tomato red field. In the center of the field is a proportionately small medallion with a dark blue, brown, black ground with ''avrash'' or color change. The main border of the rug has the same medium blue color found in the corners of the field.
CONDITION: Condition is good except the ends need some attention.
