SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN DESIGN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4' 2'' x 6' 7'': This rug has a traditional central diamond shaped medallion with spandrels dangling from either end. The red ground of the medallion makes it look like a jewel set in the ivory field of the rug. The balance of the field is covered with a colorful array of flowers, palmettes, leaves, and vines. The main border has a blue background that has a design of palmettes alternating with large leaves. Condition is good.
