APPROX 25 TO 40 YR OLD PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' x 4': This rug has an overall design that is a variant on the garden pattern that is found in many Persian rugs. The field is covered with rows of various flowering plants done in colors of pink, red, blues, and green with ivory backgrounds. The outlines of each plant are accented by their deep red and blue-black colors which contrast with the softer inner colors. The blue main border and the two white ground guard borders complete the design of the rug. Condition is good.
