APPROX. 30-50 YR OLD BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 7' 8'' x 9' 10'': This Bokhara rug has both traditional colors and design motifs of rugs woven in the Turkestan region. The brick and tomato reds outlined with black and lightened with accents of white are used to good advantage within the confines of the design. The staggered rows of elephant foot shaped ''guls'' and diamond shaped ''guls'' repeat over the whole field of the rug. The small borders are a little darker than the field to frame the rest of the rug. Condition is good.
