19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE STYLE HIGHBOY: Mid 19th century, flame mahogany veneer all over. Broken arch pediment with rosettes, 2 spire finials. Top central drawer with carved shell front surmounted by 2 shaped drawers over 4 full length graduated drawers. Base with full length drawer over 3 drawer, center having matching shell decoration. Brass batwing pulls and escutcheons. Shaped skirt, cabriole legs with carved knees ending in claw and ball feet.
CONDITION: Crazing to veneer, age split to pediment, trim on base with missing corner, chips. Other wear consistent with age and use. Nails appear to be 1790-1835 vintage.
