GURLEY BRASS SURVEYORS TRANSIT WITH ORIGINAL TRIPOD: Late 19th century production with no visible serial number, brass transit with level and silvered dial compass marked W. & L. E. Gurley, Troy, N. Y.. Transit overall measures 9 1/4'' h. x 8 3/4'' x 5 1/2''. Original carrying case with leather strap measures 11 3/4'' x 10'' x 7''. Sold with original wood and brass telescoping tripod, also marked Gurley on mounts.
CONDITION: Shows signs of age, optics appear to be working fine however we are not experts in transits. Scratches to tripod legs.
