SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN GORAVAN / HERIZ HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 10'2'' x 12'10'': This traditionally designed Persian rug has an extremely large central star shaped medallion done in colors of ivory, peach, brown, blue, and black. At either end of the medallion palmettes shaped spandrels are suspended from the medallion. The four corners of the field are outlined by a saw toothed ivory ground band. The corners are like sections of the central medallion. The black ground of the main border ties in with the black used in the main design of the field. The overall look of the rug is very pleasing and will be an attractive addition to any room setting. Condition is good with fading that is even and adds to the overall look.
