Stamped ''FREE'' above Morris' signature. Morris was instrumental in paying off money owed to Continental Soldiers, by the government securing loans from France and the Netherlands for our country. Unfortunately, this heroic American patriot died in near poverty after spending over three years in debtors prison near the end of his life. Signature is in bold, vivid, rich brown pen.''
