APPROX. 45-75 YR. OLD TURKOMAN BOKHARA HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4'3'' x 6'2'': This real Bokhara has a somewhat different use of the colors usually found on these rugs but the motifs are traditional. There are alternating rows of two different patterns of ''guls'', a small diamond shaped one and an oval gul that has four panels or quarters. These quarters are accentuated by blue lines that run through the rug and intersect in the center of each gul. The colors in the guls include a medium blue, rust, white and salmon. The salmon colored field is bordered by darker colored multiple small guard borders, a main border with another gul in panels and aprons at each end of the field. Condition is good.
