(non-commissioned officers) sword, all brass hilt, 32'' blade marked on ricasso Collins & Co., Hartford, Conn.; dated 1862 verso, no visible inspector marks. Overall 38 3/4'' long, no scabbard. 2) Model 1860 Staff & Field officers sword, 28'' etched blade marked in ricasso with dealers name J. Bernhard & Bro., Allegheng, PA. Gilt brass hilt with leather wrap, twist wire. Blade with typical military markings, scabbard with gilt metal mounts. Overall 34 3/4'' long.
CONDITION: #1 with dark age patina all over, age stains to blade. #2) Age stains in isolated areas to blade, scabbard with slight bend in middle.
