APPROX 20-35 YR OLD SINO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUNNER, 2'6'' x 10': This softly colored runner has a repeating central pattern of a rectangular platter surrounded by sprays of small flowers alternating with a large vase of flowers. These two designs run down the center of the field. On either side are half motifs of the same two patterns. The main border has a light blue ground that is covered with alternating flowering plants. The mostly pastel colors are accented by deep blue and wine color highlights. Condition is good.
