APPROX. 20-35 YR. OLD INDO-PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9'8'' x 12'8'': This rug has an interesting color palette and an interesting combination of geometric and curvilinear design motifs. The field color is a pretty purple that is covered with a variant Mina Khani design of repeating rows of flower heads done in an array of colors including red, turquoise, blue, yellow, and green. In between the flower heads are various other motifs, some geometric in shape and some more curvilinear. The large red main border along with the turquoise, red, and white guard borders, make an interesting contrast to the field.
CONDITION: Mostly good condition with some repair to the side selvedges needed.
