UPRIGHT COIN OP POLYPHON DISC MUSIC BOX & DISCS: German coin operated music box, mixed wood veneer. Crest with carved Polyphon, carved and pierced decoration, turned full column stiles. Double comb movement, currently set up for free play, unsure of coin mechanism functionality. Plaque on either side reads ''Drop a Penny in the Slot, H. Peters & Co., London, Made in Leipzig''. Sold with eleven 19 3/4'' discs. Overall measure 30 1/2'' h. x 27 1/4'' x 15 1/2''.
CONDITION: Comb missing one tooth, chips and bubbling to veneer, case in need of restoration.
