William Hart is a formidable Hudson River School artist who painted portraits, landscapes, allegorical and genre paintings. CONDITION: This piece has an older reline, and has been cleaned. There is no evidence of any inpaint or patches. Throughout the painting there are minute, pinpoint specks of paint loss, but the piece is very secure, and shows no signs of instability. | 7,500 |
