Beaded metal outlines all the panels. Shade is approx. 16'' dia. Lamp is 23''h. Three light sockets with turn switches signed Bryant as were used on some Tiffany Lamps.. Condition is original, later wiring for safety. Note: The lamp was consigned by a collector. There seems to be a discussion as to whether Tiffany ever made lamps of this type. Tiffany Studios most definitely made filigree bronze letter racks and inkwells etcetera but no reference to this particular pattern that I can find except for Dr. Egon Neustadt's Book ''The Lamps of Tiffany'' page 57. Our lamp, Lot 85, has a Tiffany Studios inset label and the base is signed Tiffany Studios New York, #533. With all facts known, the buyer must make up their mind as to authenticity. We do not guarantee this lamp to be Tiffany. It is most definitely a fine example of Arts & Crafts Lighting of the period.
