10 | BOESE, Edward H., (American, 20th C): Sixteen piece Art Collection from the artists estate. He was a connoisseur, collector, philanthropist and artist in the Chicago area in the first part of the 20th Century. Thirteen of the pieces are unstretched and unframed oils. There is one stretched oil and two W/C's, one which is titled ''In The Country'' which was entered into the National Army Arts Contest. Pieces are in very poor condition. Condition - Craquelure throughout, re-lined, several sporadic flecks of paint loss throughout, lower left there is up-lifting of paint as well as numerous portions of in-paint that's visible by black light.
