1016 | LE TALLEC FRENCH PORCELAIN FOR BLACK STARR & GORHAM: 4 pieces of French Limoges decorated by the Le Tallec studio in Paris. Covered vegetable server (9 1/2'' dia.), an oval platter (13 1/2''l), an 11'' round plate and a 13'' round tray. Le Tallec was founded in the 1930s by Camille LeTallec (d1992). Le Tallec decorated mostly dinnerware and giftware. Everything they produced was entirely hand painted and of very high quality. They did a lot of work for Tiffany, and many dinnerware patterns were exclusive to Tiffany. Le Tallec is a most prestigious decorating studio of France.
