From the Collection of Otto Koloman Wagner, renowned Austrian architect, descending through the family. The wooden base currently supporting the sculpture was designed by Wagner and will be sold following at lot 30A. The piece was displayed for many years at the Polk Museum. You may also view a picture of the piece on line shown in the Billiard Room of the Wagner Estate in Vienna Austria in 1895. CONDITION: Recent repair to arm and hand, older repair to wing, several scattered scuffs, painted over later. |
