Impressed with mark in porcelain verso with Crown and D. The artist used high quality porcelain paints that once fired, will never fade or flake off. This is an technically elaborate and extremely time consuming process that requires a complete refiring in the kiln after each layer of color. The result is a richly detailed, luminous painting that accentuates the equine's glowing chestnut coat. | 850 |
