OLD PERSIAN HANDMADE WOOL SALT BAGS, each 1'10'' x 1'2'': These charming bags have been made using a variety of techniques to create colorful designs on objects that were originally strictly a utilitarian item. The first bag has a zig-zag design around diamonds in a square done in colors of reds, blues, and white. There are birds on the funnel part of the bag and the back of the bag has a striped pattern. The second bag has small repeating push me-pull you arrows motif in many colors on a red field. Also with a striped back. The last bag has a pattern of various colored bands with small geometric motifs. The back has a diamond lattice design between white bands.
