Size with margins 24.5'' x 17.5''. Arches watermark in right margin. ''The Spanish painter, graphic artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso created a body of work of about 50,000 paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures and ceramics. He studied at the Royal Academy in Madrid and at the Art Academy in Barcelona, where his father taught. In 1901 Picasso had his first exhibition in a gallery in Paris, followed by numerous international exhibitions. The works from his Blue and Rose period and the establishing of cubism along with Georges Braque marked the beginning of his extraordinary artistic career.'' CONDITION: Overall pale browning, minor handling crease in left corner to the right of the numbering in the margin, hairline repair to paper approx. 3'' long in upper left corner, tape remnants in upper margin visible verso with minor paper loss. Some browning in lower margin verso, lower right corner verso, negligible paper loss. Several scattered faint spots, faint discrepancy between exposed paper and margins, faint discrepancy in color with the margin area being lighter.

Arches watermark is in lower mid margin.
CONDITION: Small droplet of moisture stain in right margin, very pale toning, exhibiting a lighter defined outer margin, minor handling creases. Verso has some minor discolorations, superficial pencil markings in margin.

CONDITION: Hinge mounted in upper margin, overall pale toning, darker brown along bottom edge, several small spots of foxing in lower margin, scattered spots verso with adhesive remnants. Also remnant of tape verso lower left corner and pencil marking in lower right verso.

CONDITION: Overall pale browning, darker around edges, pencil markings to bottom lower left margin, tape remnant verso upper right, several scattered pencil markings verso, not laid.

CONDITION: Hinge taped to mat, some paper imperfections visible in the margins, distinctive brown line in bottom margin, overall pale browning, a spot of stain in upper right corner beyond image.

CONDITION: Hinge mounted in upper margin, scattered visible staining from glue that was affixed to mat, exposed area has darkened. There is discoloration from a fabric mat. Faint abrasion in lower mid margin with minimal surface paper loss, several scattered spots throughout, tape remnants visible verso.

Several spots of foxing in image along with mat burn, darkening along left margin edge extending up along left margin. Some scattered white blotches in right margin, several tape remnants verso, hinge mounted.

CONDITION: Discoloration from masking tape extending across upper margin, hinge mounted in upper margin, pencil inscription ''Les Petits Saltimbanques'' lower left, marked P Picasso lower left. Lower 1'' of sheet page is folded over in frame, several scattered spots of foxing, pale to mild toning throughout. Areas exposed to light have been darkened.
